This website is an online store which promotes and sells traditional New Zealand Maori Bone Carvings, Ceramics and Pounamu (Greenstone / Jade).

Each bone carving on this website is wearable art, and is carved out of beef bone using traditional Maori tribal designs.

Bone carvings have a very special feel about them unlike anything else you will ever experience, they have a pure white appearance with flowing lines, and are soft and warm to touch. It is said that they blend with your body and become a part of you, especially when worn as a pendant against your skin.

Over a period of time bone carvings absorb oils from your skin and change colour to a very light honey gold, Maori believe this is the carving taking on some of your spirituality or essence and thus truly becoming a part of the wearer.

We also sell a unique range of ceramics designed and manufactured by a New Zealand Maori who is a third generation potter. Paul has been designing and making ceramics for thirty years.

Pounamu (Greenstone / Jade) is considered to be New Zealand gold. Our pieces are sourced from Hokitika on the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island. They are hand carved by Glen Surgenor, an artist from Hokitika, with over twenty five years carving experience. Greenstone pendants are also believed to take on the spirtuality or essence of the wearer.
